Job summary

ALTEN Sweden is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our automotive client in Gothenburg. You will help design secure, scalable developer platforms, automate software delivery, and integrate AI-powered capabilities to accelerate engineering teams.

You will collaborate across platform engineering, cloud, and cybersecurity, building CI/CD pipelines, applying IaC, and embedding security practices throughout the SDLC. Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and Backstage plugins is a plus.

Qualifications

Background in software development, platform engineering, DevOps, or DevSecOps.
Experience with modern software development and automation.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerized environments.
CI/CD and software delivery processes.
Experience with Backstage plugins and developer portals is a plus.
Interest in AI-powered tools and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

Design secure, scalable developer platforms and workflows.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Integrate security controls across the SDLC.
Enhance Internal Developer Platform and developer tooling.
Contribute to Backstage integrations and standardization.
Develop cloud-native infrastructure using IaC and automation tools.
Develop internal tools with Python or TypeScript.
Maintain security capabilities like SBOM, container security, and supply chain security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve experience and efficiency.
Drive platform reliability, observability, governance, and security.
