Job summary

Haldex is seeking a Design Engineer to join their R&D team in Landskrona. This role focuses on developing design solutions within valves and actuators, supporting product maintenance and innovation. You will collaborate cross-functionally within international project teams, utilizing your engineering expertise.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have experience with pneumatics. Strong skills in CAD systems, particularly CREO, and knowledge of the automotive industry are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least three years experience of working with pneumatics.
• Documented skill in a CAD system, preferably CREO.
• Experiences of automotive industry, preferred in design and/or validation.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop design solutions meeting specifications.
• Support product development from conception to manufacture.
• Evaluate design solutions focusing on cost.
• Analyze results from calculations and tests.
• Improve current products and support quality activities.
