Job summary

Haldex in Landskrona is seeking a Junior Design Engineer to contribute to new product development and maintenance in braking systems. You will engage in projects across air disc brakes and more, impacting future vehicle safety and technology.

Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with skills in CAD (preferred CREO). Proficiency in English and knowledge in manufacturing methods are essential. Join our global R&D team and explore innovative engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Material knowledge and knowledge of manufacturing methods.
• Documented skill in CAD system, preferably CREO.
• Knowledge in PDM system and MathCAD.
• Tolerance analysis using software or methodology.
• Base knowledge in Finite Element Analysis program, preferably ANSYS workbench.
• Good knowledge in Office software applications.
• Fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
• Experience in automotive industry, Heavy Truck/Bus experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products and design solutions.
• Evaluate design solutions related to supplier and assembly processes.
• Support product development from conception to maintenance.
• Engage in technical discussions with suppliers and customers.
• Create internal technical requirement specifications.
• Develop new test methods for design elements.
