Job summary

Husqvarna Group in Huskvarna is seeking an engaged Design Engineer Accessories to drive both new product development and maintenance. You will collaborate with R&D, Global Design, Purchasing, Product Management, test laboratories, factories and external suppliers to bring concepts to industrialized products.

You will take ownership of parts approvals, build robust BOMs, and ensure documentation quality while working closely with testing, calculation, quality and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, preferably within product development or mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of mechanical design experience, including injection-moulded plastic components.
• Proficient in Catia V5 and experience with a PDM/PLM system.
• Knowledge of polymer materials, measurement technology and GD&T.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and prototypes and follow up samples and test results with test engineers.
• Take technical responsibility for the approval of parts and products within your scope.
• Create 3D models in Catia V5, drawings and technical documentation.
• Build and maintain BOM structures in Teamcenter.
• Ensure technical documentation meets requirements through internal and external reviews.
• Independently plan and drive your work across development and maintenance activities.
