If Insurance is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead nine IT Analytics professionals in the BI & Reporting/Analytics domain within the Nordic region's largest insurance company

The role combines formal leadership with hands-on involvement as needed, guiding the team through an agile journey, coordinating with other IT teams, and driving data analytics and reporting initiatives using modern tech approaches.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of documented experience of leadership roles within IT.
• Documented experience from working with Datawarehouse/Analytics solutions, preferably Insurance business.
• At least 5+ years of documented experience of working with IT system management.
• At least 5+ years of documented experience of working with translating requirements and needs into IT solutions.
• Documented experience of working with agile development methodology.
• Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• Formal education: Bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal leadership and team lead of the teams’ progress from operational to strategic levels.
• Lead, coach, support and challenge the team, and steer work with Product Owner.
• Ensure delivery progress, governance and budgeting.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and maintain progress follow-up.
• Focus on IT quality measures and innovation to secure the business area’s future.

The Industrial business area is facing interesting challenges and now needs to strengthen our team with an experienced Delivery Manager who has experience from agile way of working and building and leading high-performing teams.

About The Role

As the Delivery Manager you will take both the formal leadership - and team lead of the teams’ progress. This means stretching from operational to strategic areas of responsibility. You will lead, coach, support and challenge your team, and together with the Product Owner steer its work in a journey becoming more efficient within the data analytics - and reporting area utilizing latest tech capabilities such as Ai development supported tools and technologies.

About The Team

Your team consists of nine IT Analytics professionals in the BI&Reporting/Analytics domain, one of four domains in the If IT-unit Industrial. We believe in having an atmosphere built on trust and stability where employees have the possibility to truly put our hearts into our job – even though we sometimes have a short deadline to explain complex matters. This also means that we need to be flexible, so except that you’ll contribute with your competence in the analytics area, you are expected to work with all IT teams needing your skills. And last but not least; we welcome you to an informal working environment with lots of smiles and a positive attitude.

Who are you?

Today you are working in an IT development team inspired by agile methodologies in which you feel confident. You have a manager or Team lead role securing operational and tactical progress, governance and all that comes with that, preferably with people formally reporting to you.

You find this role interesting because you want to continue evolving your leadership skills but at the same time want to keep a foot in the technique and not afraid of “getting your hands dirty” if needed. You love to see people grow, strive for a good working environment delivering high-class business values.

The responsibility requires good planning, communication, involvement and securing progress and follow-up of the teams’ delivery and communicated plans. Continued communication with internal stakeholders of the teams’ work and progress is an important part of the role. The position entails a planning diet and budget responsibility.

In parallel with implementing business requirements, we place great focus on IT quality-enhancing measures and innovation to secure If Industrial's insurance business in the future.

You also have:

A structured and focused mindset, enjoying taking personal responsibility, having a strong drive and commitment and doing this with a coaching leadership style. You have good communication skills and concepts such as quality, customer orientation and innovation are a matter of course for you. You have a proactive solution-oriented work attitude, like to have a lot of “balls in the air” with a high integrity and a \"service-minded\" attitude.
