Job summary

Motorit, in collaboration with Oddwork, is building a modern Snowflake-based data platform in Gothenburg and seeks two Data Engineers to join early in the data team. You will turn data from multiple sources into structured data products for Customer 360, analytics, AI and digital apps.

Successful candidates will have 3+ years in data engineering, experience with Snowflake/dbt, data modelling and CI/CD, and a relevant IT/tech degree. The role is full-time and based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering and modern data platforms.
• Experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework.
• Experience with data modelling and transforming data from multiple source systems.
• Understanding of data quality, testing and production deployment.
• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
• University degree within IT, technology or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Developing transformations, data models and data flows using SQL, dbt and Snowflake.
• Developing the platform's Silver, Business Rules and Gold layers.
• Harmonizing data and implementing business rules, mappings and reference data.
• Building data products for Customer 360, analytics, AI and digital applications.
• Developing automated tests and ensuring high data quality.
• Contributing to CI/CD, observability, performance and secure handling of PII.
