Job summary

inventYOU IT Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer (level 4) with strong expertise in semantic web technologies to support a strategic proof-of-concept evaluating metadata platform solutions in Sweden. You will design integration and harvesting pipelines, implement validation logic, and ensure compliance with structured metadata standards across the evaluated platforms.

Job description

We are looking for a Data Engineer (level 4) with strong expertise in semantic web technologies to support a strategic proof-of-concept initiative evaluating metadata platform solutions. The assignment covers integration and harvesting flows between metadata sources, data validation, and ensuring compliance with structured metadata standards across the evaluated platforms.

You will own the data engineering workstream end-to-end - integration design, validation logic, harvesting pipeline development, and technical input into the final platform recommendation - within a standards-driven, quality-critical environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of data handling experience, including at least 3 years working specifically with RDF, SPARQL, and DCAT-AP


• Experience with SHACL validation or an equivalent validation framework


• Experience building integration or harvesting flows between metadata sources

Nice to Have

• Experience with RDF graph databases and broader semantic technologies


• Experience with cross-system metadata synchronization and validation tooling


• Familiarity with structured data governance specifications and standards
