Job summary

Tata Technologies in Gothenburg, Sweden is seeking an experienced Data Engineer (Java & Elasticsearch) to join a cross‑functional engineering team building a metadata management platform for AD/ADAS data and analytics.

You will develop the backend, maintain Elasticsearch configurations, contribute to data pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot.
• Deep experience with Elasticsearch and non-relational databases.
• Experience building scalable applications and data solutions.

• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the metadata platform backend, frontend, and Elasticsearch configuration.
• Support testing, deployment, and operation of application services.
• Contribute to data pipeline architecture and information models.
• Capture business requirements and transform them into solution designs.
• Maintain and develop cloud infrastructure supporting the platform.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for AD/ADAS metadata management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and users to gather requirements and improve platform capabilities.
• Support onboarding of new data sources and optimization of data processes and pipelines.
