Job summary

Story House Egmont is seeking a Data Engineer to translate raw data into decision-ready analyses for Europe. You will join a Nordic/European Data & AI team and collaborate with multiple departments across Europe, balancing technical elegance with pragmatism.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of data engineering experience, strong SQL/ETL skills, and familiarity with dbt, BigQuery, Kubernetes, and Power BI. The role is based in Malmö with local terms, reporting to the Data & AI Manager.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Strong technical background from work or education.
• Experience with SQL data warehouses and Power BI is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Data & AI team to translate data into decision-ready analyses across Europe.
• Contribute to AI-related projects and data integration via Dagster, dbt, and cloud data sources.
• Collaborate with Nordic teams and stakeholders to implement scalable data solutions.
