Job summary

As a Data Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic, humble, and creative Data Engineer to join our Analytics Platform team, building and maintaining the core data platform that powers our transport planning software, business reports, and machine learning models.

You will

• Work with external and internal data consumers to understand and predict their needs in terms of datasets and data access.
• Build and orchestrate high‑quality data pipelines to power the Saga transport planning software, business reports, and machine learning models.

We expect you to

• Have experience working hands‑on with real‑world datasets.
• Have working experience using some modern, cloud‑native data engineering tools (SQL, BigQuery, dbt, Dagster, Google Pub/Sub, among others).
• Have experience with a general‑purpose programming language such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Champion data engineering best practices and guide colleagues in their adoption.
• Be service‑mindful and comfortable having conversations with business users.

This position is full‑time and based in Stockholm or Gothenburg.
