Job summary

SEB is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to transform our Finance & Risk Data Platform into a modern, scalable enterprise data warehouse. The role focuses on enterprise data modelling within FR360 Data Platform, ensuring robust data integration at enterprise scale in a regulated banking environment.

You will design and implement robust data models supporting reporting, regulatory needs, historical data management, and governance, collaborating with data engineers, architects, stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in data modelling and enterprise data warehouse design.
• End-to-end data model delivery from requirements through physical design and production implementation.
• Experience building scalable data platforms integrating many source systems.
• Hands-on ELT pipeline development and data integration experience.
• Ability to balance business needs with regulatory requirements and maintainability.
• Strong communication to translate complex data requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for data modelling, from source analysis to the design and implementation of target data models.
• Use SQL and analytical techniques to understand source data structures, content, relationships, keys, grain, and data quality.
• Design target data models using Data Vault 2.0 principles and scalable patterns.
• Define and promote standards for historical data management, auditability, lineage, metadata, and data quality.
• Build and optimise ELT processes using Google Cloud Platform technologies (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, dbt, Dataform).
• Drive best practices in data modelling, warehouse design, and engineering excellence across the team.
