Job summary

SEGULA Technologies Sweden invites a Data Engineer to join the Data Solutions and Products team within Cloud Platform and Data at the customer site. You will design, develop, operate European vehicle data platforms and data services, focusing on pipelines, warehousing, governance, and automation.

The role requires 3–5 years of data engineering experience, a degree in CS/Engineering/IT, and strong SQL with Python or PySpark.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years in data engineering, data warehouse development, or data product ops.
• Proficient in SQL; working knowledge of Python and/or PySpark.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, modeling, ETL/ELT, and data quality.
• Experience with batch or streaming pipelines; IaC (Terraform) for provisioning.
• Familiar with data governance, data access, lineage, privacy, and retention.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and operate business-owned data products on the data platform.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and data warehouse components.
• Ensure data governance, quality, monitoring, and production support.
• Automate infrastructure across multiple cloud environments using IaC.
