Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Gothenburg, Sweden, seeks a Data Product Engineer to transform connected vehicle data into scalable data services and products for the European market.

You will design and operate batch and streaming data pipelines, develop data products like dashboards and reporting, and ensure data quality across platforms using SQL, Python, Spark, Kafka, and AWS. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, data product development, data platform operations, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for internal vehicle data services.
• Develop workflows for data cleansing, transformation, modeling, and preparation for analytics, reporting, and ML/AI use cases.
• Develop data products such as vehicle data analysis services, performance dashboards, battery health reporting, and regulatory reports.
• Operate and improve EU data products throughout their lifecycle; manage configurations, release and upgrade workflows, validation testing, and data quality monitoring.
• Perform product validation and testing to ensure data product availability and quality.
• Monitor pipeline performance, diagnose issues across pipelines and storage layers, and provide support to data consumers.
• Design and maintain data models for reporting and analytics, and build dashboards using Power BI.
• Document architectures, pipelines, workflows, and procedures for maintainability.
