Job summary

Trice is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and platforms that enable high-quality data for humans and AI systems. You will deliver end-to-end solutions and help clients access relevant data to gain insights, working with project managers, developers, and architects to raise technical standards.

The role emphasizes deep data exploration, data quality, and staying current with emerging technologies while delivering impact across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering and data analytics.
• Experience with modern cloud-based data platforms (data lakehouse, data mesh or similar).
• Solid understanding of batch and streaming data processing.
• Experience with data classification, access control, and information security.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and reviewing code/architecture.
• Experience across multiple cloud platforms and tools (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt) is a plus.

The role

As a Data Engineer at Trice, you won't just build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and platforms you'll deliver end-to-end solutions that help our clients access high-quality, relevant data, ready to be used by both people and AI systems. You'll dive deep into data, uncover patterns, and help users gain insights they hadn't seen before. Working closely with project managers, developers, and architects you'll help shape our solutions, stay on top of emerging technologies and tools, and contribute to raising the technical standard across our projects.

About you

• Experience in data engineering and data analytics, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, relevant data products that support both human decision-making and automated workflows.
• Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms, such as data lakehouses, data meshes, or similar architectures.
• A solid understanding of both batch and streaming data processing.
• Experience with data classification, access control, and information security.
• Confidence using AI-assisted tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot) where it's relevant, along with reviewing code and architecture.
• Experience across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, and dbt is considered a strong plus.
