Job summary

Mondelēz International in Upplands Väsby is seeking a Category Development Specialist to be the data and insights engine of our Revenue Growth Team. You will analyze the market with KPIs to inform strong growth plans and support customer plans through strategies and tactics.

You will own category dashboards, translate data into actionable retail insights, and craft compelling category stories for retailer engagement. This role is based on-site in Upplands Väsby.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or other relevant field is required.
• Experience in category management, shopper analytics, or commercial insights within FMCG/CPG is required.
• Strong analytical capabilities with data interpretation and visualization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with market data tools (e.g., Nielsen, ICA Self Serve) is meriting.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver category dashboards and performance tracking across channels and customers.
• Translate data from multiple sources into actionable insights for commercial decisions.
• Create compelling, data-backed category stories and selling narratives for retailer engagement and JBPs.
• Track distribution, availability, and assortment performance; support NPD reads and gap identification.
• Act as the liaison between Growth Team and Customer Business Teams to align strategies with customer needs.
• Support demand planning and annual business planning with scenario analysis and baseline modelling.
