We lead the supply agenda across functions and markets to secure customer availability at the lowest total cost. This role offers a fast-paced, global environment with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

In this role you will report to our Data & Technology Manager, IKEA Supply.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the analytics organization, with teams in Data Engineering, Data & Information Modelling, Data Science, and Data Products & Sharing, located in Sweden, Switzerland, Poland, and Germany. Ensure data-driven decision-making is enabled for leadership at all levels.
  • Establish common views across IKEA about the value of data and analytics.
  • Lead a high-performing team through transformational analytics journeys and continuously improve how insights are delivered.
  • Collaborate with peers across IKEA, Capability Managers, Digital Product Area Managers, and other stakeholders to align roadmaps and advance data and analytics initiatives.
  • Own the full competence and resourcing within the function, including cost and budget management, optimizing resources to achieve business goals.
Qualifications and Experience

You should be excited to lead in uncertainty and drive improvements in the IKEA value chain. You are motivated by delivering value with analytical tools and AI, and you make fact-based decisions. You understand that change is driven through people and are committed to developing your team's capabilities to sustain value deliveries. You thrive in a global, high-complexity environment with opportunities to simplify and focus on prioritized outcomes that support strategic moves and operational stability.

Core leadership follows IKEA values: a visionary, hands-on leader with a proven track record in data and analytics, capable of building and scaling modern data platforms and establishing governance that balances central standards with local needs. The ideal candidate combines leadership with technical knowledge to make data a trusted driver of value creation across IKEA.

Knowledge, skills and experiences that would be valuable:

  • Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Proven leadership experience with diverse teams, ideally within data & analytics.
  • Good understanding of AI and machine learning and its potential in Data & Analytics.
  • Leadership style that fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and data-driven ways of working.
  • Proven ability to lead through change with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for decision makers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in vendor and contract management, and leading mixed internal/external resource teams.
  • Positive, proactive, persistent attitude with motivation to tackle complex challenges.
  • Familiar with analytical tools and platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, Synapse, Fabric, or similar.
  • Beneficial: Experience of global supply chain operations, different delivery methodologies, IKEA culture and values, value chain and operating model.
