Qualifications

• Solid accounting foundation with experience alongside accounting functions.
• 3–7 years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Deep knowledge of GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a SME for D365 F&O Finance modules (GL, AR, AP, FA, budgeting, cash & bank management).
• Support and maintain live D365 environments – incidents, changes, root cause analysis.
• Contribute to ERP rollout programs: fit-gap workshops, configuration, testing, cutover, hypercare.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate requirements into system solutions.
• Support data migration and finance-related integrations.
• Create and maintain functional documentation, process guides, and training materials.
• Bridge between business and technical/developer teams.
• Provide mentorship on D365 Finance topics.

Position Overview

We are looking for an Applications Specialist with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to join our global IT team. Depending on your background and experience, this role could be filled at a specialist or senior specialist level. You will be a key contributor to Permobil's ongoing D365 ERP rollout program – bridging functional finance processes with technical system capabilities, supporting our live environments, and helping shape how we scale the platform across regions.

The ideal candidate understands finance from the inside, having worked in or closely with accounting teams before stepping into a systems-focused role over the past few years. You are comfortable sitting between the business and the platform, translating what finance teams actually need into D365 solutions that work.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for D365 F&O Finance modules (GL, AR, AP, FA, budgeting, cash & bank management)
• Support and maintain live D365 environments – managing incidents, change requests, and root cause analysis
• Contribute to ERP rollout programs: fit‑gap workshops, configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare
• Collaborate with finance business stakeholders to translate requirements into system solutions
• Support data migration and integration activities related to finance processes
• Create and maintain functional documentation, process guides, and training materials
• Serve as a bridge between the business and technical/developer teams
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer within the IT team on D365 Finance topics

Qualifications & Skills

• A solid foundation in accounting – you understand financial statements, period‑end close, reconciliations, and core finance processes from having worked in or alongside an accounting function
• A career path that started in finance/accounting and has shifted toward the system side over the past 3–5 years
• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
• Deep functional knowledge of core Finance modules – GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and budgeting
• Experience supporting or participating in full‑cycle D365 implementations
• Ability to configure D365 and write clear functional specifications
• Comfortable working across time zones in a global, distributed team
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 – especially in a finance context
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for issue tracking and release management.

Meriting Skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification (MB‑310 or equivalent)
• Experience with multi‑country rollouts or global ERP programs
• Familiarity with finance‑adjacent integrations (e.g. invoice automation tools such as Basware, output management solutions such as Lasernet, or EDI/punchout scenarios)
• Swedish language skills (for Sweden‑based candidates)
