Job summary

Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. is seeking a manager for their Cybersecurity function within HVDC in Sweden. This role involves leading a team, ensuring proper involvement in all projects, and guiding cybersecurity efforts across the organization.

Qualifications

Overview

The opportunity

This position is for a collaborative, teamwork-oriented manager with a strong interest in cybersecurity. You will head the Engineering part of the Cybersecurity function within HVDC, working with Project Cybersecurity Leads, Engineers and Risk Assessment Engineers. You will guide and empower the team, ensure relevant tasks and divisions of work, and collaborate with other HVDC managers.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in day-to-day activities.
• Ensure relevant involvement in all HVDC projects (Customer and R&D).
• Ensure the team has tools and applications needed to support tasks.
• Participate in Project Reviews where necessary.
• Answer questions regarding technology, best practice, laws, standards and directives.
• For ongoing tenders, be involved in contractual and legal discussions for cybersecurity questions with contract managers and legal specialists.

Your Background

• Documented experience in leading positions such as team leader and/or project management.
• Knowledge of one or more critical infrastructure regulations (e.g., NIS/NIS2, NERC-CIP).
• Knowledge of protective security laws (e.g., Swedish Protective Security Act, National Security Act (UK)) and related frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity/information security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, IEC 62443, NIST CSF).
• Adaptable, collaborative and able to thrive in a changing environment.
• Fluency in English is required for a global company environment.
