Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden is seeking a collaborative Cybersecurity Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering team within the Cybersecurity function. You will guide Project Cybersecurity Leads, Engineers and Risk Assessment Engineers in project execution, tenders and development activities.

You bring experience in leading teams, knowledge of NIS/NIS2, NERC-CIP, security frameworks (ISO 27001, IEC62443, NIST CSF) and fluent English, ready to work in a global environment with strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience in leading positions such as team leader or project manager.
• Knowledge of one or more critical infrastructure regulations (e.g., NIS/NIS2, NERC-CIP).
• Familiarity with protective security laws and international standards like ISO 27001, IEC62443, NIST CSF.
• Fluency in English and ability to collaborate in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cybersecurity Engineering team and coordinate with Cybersecurity Leads, Engineers and Risk Assessment Engineers.
• Guide project execution, tenders and development activities in cybersecurity.
• Ensure the team has tools and applications needed to support tasks.
• Participate in project reviews and contractual discussions related to cybersecurity.

Opportunity For this position we are looking for a collaborative, teamwork-oriented manager with a strong interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to share experience and guidance. To excel in this position, you will need to understand the Cybersecurity trends and regulatory challenges and work proactively to be one step ahead.

At HVDC our Cybersecurity function is split into two teams. You will be heading the Engineering part of the Cybersecurity function with our Project Cybersecurity Leads, Engineers and Risk Assessment Engineers. They are deeply involved in project execution, tendering and other various development activities. Your task is to support, guide, strengthen and empower the team and you will work with other managers across HVDC to ensure the right and relevant tasks and Divisions of Work for the team.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the team in their day-to-day activities.
• Ensure relevant involvement in all projects at HVDC (Customer and R&D).
• Ensure the team has all the tools and applications needed to support the tasks.
• Participating in Project Reviews were necessary.
• As Cybersecurity Engineering manager you will be able to answer most questions regarding Technology, best-practice, Laws, Standards and Directives.
• For ongoing tenders, you will be involved in contractual and legal discussions for cybersecurity related questions together with our contract managers and legal specialists and counsels.

Your background

• You have documented experience from leading positions such as team leader and/or Project Management.
• Knowledge of one or more critical infrastructure regulations such as NIS/NIS2, NERC-CIP.
• Knowledge regarding one or more protective security laws such as the Swedish Protective Security Act, National Security Act (UK) and more.
• Knowledge and experience from cybersecurity/information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, IEC62443, NIST CSF.
• You are an engaged person who thrives in a constantly changing environment and enjoys collaboration with employees, peers and beyond.
• As you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, fluency in English is required.
