Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Coordinator / System Engineer for a consultant assignment with a leading automotive client. The role sits within the Electric & Electronics domain, focusing on embedded system development and ensuring cybersecurity is integrated across all levels of system design.

As a Cybersecurity Coordinator, you will lead and coordinate cybersecurity development activities, including planning, documentation, and implementation of solutions that align with both project-specific requirements and scalable platform strategies. You will work closely with stakeholders across the electrical system domain, supporting agile hardware and software development teams.

The assignment is part of an in-house platform development initiative, where you will drive system solution investigations, plan development activities, and monitor progress. The environment is dynamic, collaborative, and focused on delivering a robust embedded system platform used globally by hundreds of engineers developing customer-oriented features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop cybersecurity deliverables, including item definitions, damage analyses, threat analyses, cybersecurity plans, concepts, and cases.
• Investigate system-level solutions and translate them into well-documented requirements.
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities across agile hardware and software teams.
• Plan, track, and monitor cybersecurity development progress for projects and platform initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and platform scalability.
• Support risk assessments and threat modeling in accordance with automotive cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of platform processes and cybersecurity practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cyber security coordination or system engineering within the automotive or embedded systems domain.
• Solid understanding of embedded system architectures and platform-based development.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and frameworks (ISO/SAE 21434, AUTOSAR, etc.).
• Strong documentation and communication skills for coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile development environments is highly desirable.
