Job summary

Avarda Bank AB (publ) is seeking an analyst to join our team, focusing on data-driven decisions across performing credit portfolios and pre-collection improvements. You will analyse payment behaviour, delinquency, roll rates, vintages, and profitability, while translating insights into concrete business actions.

You will work with SQL-based analyses, performance monitoring, and present recommendations to business owners and management, aiming to prevent losses and support portfolio transactions.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Quantitative background in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics or data science.
• Experience in credit risk, portfolio analytics or data-driven financial environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with commercial judgement.
• Clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyse performance of credit portfolios: payment behaviour, delinquency, roll rates, vintages, segments and profitability.
• Identify risks and opportunities; translate findings into business recommendations.
• Improve pre-collection strategies: customer selection, channels, treatment, vendor performance, cure rates.
• Design tests to measure incremental impact of pre-collection initiatives.
• Develop robust SQL analyses and recurring performance reporting.
• Support portfolio sales and forward-flow transactions: segmentation, data-tape prep, cash-flow and pricing analyses, due diligence, post-sale monitoring.
• Ensure data quality, definitions, and documentation.
• Present findings clearly to business stakeholders and management.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk, Collections, Finance, Commercial & Data teams and country partners.
