Job summary

Qred in Stockholm is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst focused on our credit card products to join the team. You will analyze and support the credit card portfolio, bridging risk data with automated decisioning and commercial impact.

You'll work with senior colleagues to monitor underwriting, limit adjustments, and portfolio behavior, using SQL and Python to build dashboards and drive risk-informed growth across Northern Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis or risk analytics.
• Exposure to credit card products, digital lending, or consumer/ SME credit preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python for quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor portfolio performance, usage patterns, and risk trends for the business credit card.
• Assist in developing and tuning automated frameworks for credit limit adjustments and risk scoring.
• Build and maintain dashboards to track credit card metrics, loss performance, and risk indicators.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to streamline card issuance and decisioning.
• Support evaluation and updating of card-specific credit policies and risk models.

About The Role

In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing and supporting our credit card portfolio within the Credit Domain, helping us bridge the gap between risk data, automated execution, and commercial impact. You will work closely with senior colleagues to monitor, analyze, and optimize underwriting processes, limit adjustments, and portfolio behavior specifically for our business credit card offering. By combining data analysis with a strong interest in card products, you will help us ensure safe, scalable, and customer‑centric portfolio growth across Northern Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor portfolio performance, usage patterns, and risk trends specifically for our business credit card product.
• Assist in developing and tuning automated frameworks for credit limit adjustments, risk scoring, and card underwriting.
• Build and maintain dashboards using SQL and Python to track credit card metrics, loss performance, and key risk indicators.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to streamline card issuance, credit decisioning, and customer journeys.
• Support the evaluation and updating of card-specific credit policies and risk models based on real-world portfolio data.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or another relevant quantitative/business field (or equivalent practical experience).
• A few years of experience working with data analysis or risk analytics, ideally with exposure to credit card products, digital lending, or consumer/SME credit.
• Good hands‑on skills in SQL and Python for quantitative data analysis.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or Amazon QuickSight.
• A genuine interest in fintech, credit card mechanics, and digital credit risk management.
