Are you ready to start a new adventure? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Credit and Collection Specialist to join our Credit Department at Telia Finance!

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively. If you have strong communication skills, solid experience in collections, and a genuine interest in developing your credit knowledge, this role is for you.

This is an operational role where you will be directly involved in day-to-day credit and collection activities. You will handle reminders, follow up on overdue receivables, and drive debt recovery in insolvency cases. In addition, you will function as credit analyst and perform credit assessments and have the opportunity to broaden your expertise in credit by working with counterparty analysis primarily targeting B2B customers.

Key responsibilities:
  • Take full ownership of operational collection processes, including reminders and debt recovery.
  • Handle insolvency cases and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service to resolve payment challenges.
  • Prepare reports, analyze collection performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Take a proactive approach to reducing credit risk and bad debt.
  • Perform credit assessments and decision-making.
Is this you?
  • 3–5 years of experience in banking, finance, or similar roles, preferably in credit or collections
  • Strong operational experience in debt collection and recovery processes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with the Swedish market (Nordic experience is a plus).
  • A degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field is an advantage.

This position is based at Telia’s headquarters in Solna, Stockholm.
