About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Country Security Operations Manager to oversee and manage physical security across our data center facilities in Sweden and Denmark. Reporting directly to the Head of Physical Security, you will play a key role in ensuring the protection of employees, visitors, assets, and mission-critical infrastructure. In this role, you will lead daily security operations, manage compliance with atNorth’s security standards and local regulations, and act as the country lead for incident response and risk management. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, contractors, and external stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant security solutions that support smooth operations and a consistent customer and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
Security Operations
  • Manage daily operations of Physical Security Operations Centers in Sweden and Denmark.
  • Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and security testing to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Provide professional, customer-oriented support to employees and visitors.
Compliance & Standards
  • Ensure compliance with atNorth’s Physical Security Standard and local legal requirements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of country-level security plans and policies.
  • Prepare and deliver regular security updates and reports.
Incident & Risk Management
  • Act as country lead for physical security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
  • Coordinate emergency response, evacuation, and business continuity activities.
  • Conduct risk and threat analyses and recommend mitigation strategies.
Team & Vendor Management
  • Supervise security staff and contractors, providing training and guidance.
  • Manage and evaluate security vendors in collaboration with the Head of Physical Security.
  • Ensure security awareness training is in place for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Maintain liaison with law enforcement, regulators, and suppliers.
Collaboration
  • Support the integration of security solutions across atNorth operations.
  • Contribute to new data center builds by advising on site security during construction.
About You

You are a confident and structured leader with solid experience in managing security operations in a complex, multinational environment. You combine technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to manage teams, vendors, and stakeholders effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and bring a proactive approach to risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Security, or related field; equivalent military/police service also considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in security management, preferably within data center operations.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 and other standards (e.g., NIS2, SOC 2).
  • Industry certifications such as ASIS CPP or ISMI CSMP are an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Fluency in English; local language proficiency is an asset.
  • Flexibility to travel within the country as required.
  • Background check will be conducted for all employees.
