Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is seeking a Construction Manager for a 4-month assignment in Stenungsund, Sweden (between Uddevalla and Gothenburg). The role is to coordinate and oversee all construction activities on the fabrication site and within the customer's plant, ensuring safe and efficient execution through coordination with Sub-Contractors and Suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly project meetings, constructability and HSE review & meetings
• Participate in detailed planning of all construction activities to be done by Sub-Contractor and Suppliers, ensuring proper sequence
• Review construction procedures prepared by Sub-Contractor and Suppliers, ensuring execution per procedures
• Manage Sub-Contractor work-pack and Work Permit applications
• Ensure work packs are properly planned by Sub-Contractors for safe execution
• Coordinate client discipline leads involvement in work packs
• Coordinate Mechanical Completion inspections and pre-commissioning preparation
• Verify sub-contractors progress input and report to Project Planner and Site Manager
• Maintain dialogue with customer regarding construction matters

Assignment Description

Construction Manager will have the overall responsibility to coordinate and follow up the project construction activities being performed on the fabrication site and within the customers Plant.

The Construction Manager and the site follow-up team will be located in Stenungsund area during the assembly and construction phase until final handover to customer.

Activities within the responsibility of the Construction Manager:

• Participate in weekly project meetings, constructability and HSE review & meetings
• Participate in the detailed planning of all construction activities to be done by Sub-Contractor and Suppliers, ensuring work is performed in a correct sequence
• Review of construction procedures prepared by Sub-Contractor and Suppliers, ensuring the execution of the works are performed according to adequate procedures
• Manage the Sub-Contractor timely preparations of Work Method Statements and Work Permit applications
• Ensure defines work packs are properly planned and prepared by Sub-Contractors for an efficient and safe execution of the works
• Coordinate the client discipline leads involvement (for supervision and verifications) in work packs
• Coordinate the Mechanical Completion inspections as well as preparation for pre-commissioning activities
• Verify sub-contractors progress input, giving regularly input to Project Planner and Site Manager.
• Maintain the dialogue with customer regarding construction matters.
