We are looking for our next Commerce Solution Lead. This is a role at the intersection of technology and business - owning and evolving our commerce and customer-facing platforms across online, in-store, CRM, and customer service.

You will be accountable for the architecture, performance, reliability, and maintenance of these systems - ensuring they scale with us as we grow. Working within IT in cross collaboration with our business and partners, you will connect daily operations to strategic project delivery, keeping commerce technology aligned with where Axel Arigato is headed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are a technically grounded leader who moves comfortably between architecture decisions and cross-functional collaboration. You bring clarity to complex systems and communicate technical topics in ways that resonate with non-technical stakeholders. You are structured in your approach and enjoy the speed of the retail industry.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own the architecture of all commerce and customer platforms in the domain - including online, in-store, CRM and customer service - ensuring best‑practice architecture principles are applied.

• Lead cross‑functionally across business, IT, and partners to align commerce technology with business goals, from daily operations to strategic project delivery.

• Be responsible for the technical development, including hands‑on day‑to‑day maintenance.

• Define and translate business requirements into technical solutions (incl SAD and integration specifications), working closely with commerce and customer experience teams to ensure platforms meet business needs.

• Manage external IT consultants and vendors across planning, ordering, follow‑up, and delivery.

• Establish and evolve ways of working in line with agile principles, processes, and governance.

• Act in alignment with DROP values and the Axel Arigato Company Code of Conduct.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems development, integrations, and solution architecture.

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading and motivating cross‑functional or agile teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Strong understanding of technical architecture, business processes, and project management.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced release and development environment.

• Competence in reading and handling code, integrations, and architectural setups.

• Excellent communication skills - able to translate technical topics clearly for non‑technical stakeholders.
