Job summary

Ikano Bank in Sweden seeks a Collection Agent to support the Customer Operations sub-function in the collections area. You will carry out the collection strategy, handle inbound communications, and manage administrative tasks within the collection process.

You will maintain performance indicators and collaborate with other teams to reduce credit losses while keeping costs and compliance in check. English and German language skills (B2/B2-C1) are required due to diverse customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent.
• Experience in office/administration environment.
• Experience with collection processes is optional.
• Language competencies: English B2 and German B2/C1.
• Understanding of financial services/consumer finance market.
• Experience in Operational departments in financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the Bank's Collection strategy, including inbound communications and related admin tasks.
• Maintain high quantitative and qualitative indicators for collection and recovery processes.

Purpose of the Job

The role supports and contributes to Customer Operations sub-function in managing collection area, with focus on process efficiency and cost metrics.

Responsibilities of the Job

As a Collection Agent you carry out the Collection strategy of the Bank, this includes receiving and managing inbound communication, and handle administrative tasks related to the collection process. You maintain high quantitative and qualitative indicators for the collection and recovery processes. Collaborate with other teams / departments to reduce credit losses while maintaining an optimum level of cost and performance and ensuring compliance of processes with the applicable regulation /legislation.

Education Level

Bachelor's Degree

Experience/Demonstrated Competencies

• working in an office / administration environment
• experience with collection processes (non-mandatory)

Language Competencies

• English B2
• German B2/C1

Knowledge required

• Understanding of financial services/consumer finance market.
• Previous experience of working in Operational departments in a financial institution.
