Job summary

Tata Technologies Gothenburg is seeking a Software Engineer – CI for CI to join a cross-functional engineering team building and maintaining the functionality that enables CI teams to safely validate and iterate CI solutions before deployment.

You will work on a Bazel-based CI platform, implement Bazel rules, enable incremental builds, and optimize performance with remote caching and distributed execution. Collaboration with CI teams to standardize workflows is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
• Experience developing robust, scalable software solutions.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and build systems.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI-for-CI platform functionality.
• Build and evolve a Bazel-based CI platform.
• Design and implement Bazel rules and macros for building, testing, and deploying software.
• Enable incremental and change-based builds.
• Optimize CI performance through remote caching and distributed execution.
• Collaborate with CI teams to standardize workflows, improve reliability, and reduce CI cycle times.
• Support a scalable and observable CI infrastructure.
