Build & Integration CI-CD Engineering
Experience: 7 to 11 yrs
Job location : Gothenburg , Sweden
Roles and responsibilities:
- Migration of BCM2 build environments to Windows 11 and server-based platforms
- Development, configuration, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent)
- Troubleshooting and fault tracing of build failures, scripts, and toolchain issues
- Supporting Python-based build scripts, including legacy Python environments (e.g., Python 2.7)
- Establishing reproducible and maintainable build environments using virtualization (Docker/VMs)
- Supporting Sync3, Sync5, and GM build pipeline execution and validation
- Ensuring compatibility with legacy toolchains (MATLAB, AUTOSAR, Renesas, SVN, etc.)
- Collaboration with suppliers to ensure correct execution in sandbox and integration environments
- Validation support - build verification, issue analysis, and output comparison
- Updating technical documentation, build manuals, and operational guidelines
- Supporting handover and knowledge transfer activities
- Ensuring adherence to quality, stability, and non-regression requirements
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar
- Ideally has a minimum of 5+ years of experience in build engineering / CI-CD / DevOps
- Strong experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins or equivalent)
- Strong Python skills, including experience with legacy Python environments
- Experience in build pipeline migration and troubleshooting complex build systems
- Experience working with Linux and Windows hybrid environments
- Knowledge of Docker, virtualization, or container-based environments
- Familiarity with legacy automotive toolchains (MATLAB, AUTOSAR, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems (SVN or Git)
- Experience in fault tracing and debugging build and integration issues
- Understanding of software build flows, integration processes, and validation methodologies
- Experience working with automotive embedded systems is an advantage
- Ability to work in a distributed/global team
