Job summary

If is seeking a Chapter Lead to develop people, practices, and capabilities within the Data Discovery & Experience chapter. You will coach chapter members while helping establish standards, ways of working, and technical direction across APIs, Data Products, and Data Discovery capabilities.

The role blends people leadership with technical guidance in an agile, learning-centric environment. You will work with Product Managers, Architects, and engineering teams to deliver value, promote a product

Qualifications

  • Relevant university degree, preferably within Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data & Analytics, or a related field.
  • Equivalent practical experience is also valued.
  • Experience in Software Engineering or Technical Leadership, Data Engineering, Analytics, or Data Platforms, API Platforms, Data Products, or Data Discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support chapter members in their professional development and growth.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

To support that journey, we are looking for a Chapter Lead who is passionate about developing people, building capabilities, and creating great experiences.You will coach and develop talented professionals while helping shape the future of Data Discovery, APIs, Data Products, and AI-enabled experiences at If.About the roleAs Chapter Lead, you will develop the people, practices, and capabilities within the Data Discovery & Experience chapter.You will combine people leadership with technical leadership, coaching chapter members while helping establish standards, ways of working, and technical direction.Working closely with Product Managers, Architects, and engineering teams, you will help ensure our APIs, Data Products, and Data Discovery capabilities deliver real value to users and the business.You are an excellent communicator in English and can make complex technical concepts understandable and actionable for both technical and business stakeholders.You are passionate about agile ways of working, continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of learning, curiosity, and professional growth.About the teamThe Data Discovery & Experience team brings together people with business, product, and technical backgrounds to improve how APIs and Data are discovered, understood, and used across If. We work using agile ways of working and collaborate closely with teams across business and technology domains.The team is part of a larger tribe with the mission to provide common API, Data, and IAM capabilities that enable If's business to grow in a secure, scalable, and compliant manner.
