Job summary

Grale is seeking a Chief Financial Officer in Stockholm to own and shape the finance function as the first dedicated finance hire. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial modelling and fundraising to support growth.

You will partner with founders and management, building scalable processes, controls and reporting as Grale scales globally. This is a hands‑on, strategic finance leadership role in a growing climate tech company.

Qualifications

• Broad finance experience across finance, accounting or business controlling.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and modelling skills.
• Fundraising experience and understanding of financing instruments.
• Fluency in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop Grale’s financial strategy and overall finance function, ensuring finance is aligned with the company’s goals.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial modelling, providing visibility into runway and scenarios.
• Build scalable financial processes, systems and reporting structures for a growing company.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to founders and management for strategic decisions.
• Lead fundraising activities, including models, budgets, investor materials and due diligence.
• Oversee accounting, audits, tax, compliance and financial risk management with external partners.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial performance and efficiency as Grale scales.
