Asket is an independent direct-to-consumer apparel brand founded in 2015. Our vision is a world free of mindless consumption. We create and continuously refine a single permanent collection, allowing us to live fulfilled with less and do better by people and planet.

As Chief Financial and Operations Officer, you will join our management team, working closely with our Chief Commercial Officer and co-founders (CEO and CPO). You’re ultimately responsible for enabling the continued growth and evolution of Asket by managing our organisational backbone: finance and operations. Your mission is to guide Asket’s long term, profitable growth by commanding budgets and profitability levers, managing investment planning and financing, optimising inventory management and cash flows, leading process automation and navigating the complexities of increased international expansion.

You’ll manage a finance team with two direct reports - an accountant and a business controller - and oversee an operations and logistics team with one direct report - a head of operations. We’re a tight-knit and hands-on organisation, which means you’ll go from long range forecasting and cash flow modelling one day, to setting up new entities, mitigating tariffs and problem-shooting account reconciliation the day after.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, payroll, and financial reporting
• Lead controlling, procurement, and cost management
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models
• Manage financing, funding strategies, and investor relations
• Oversee operational processes and logistics

Key challenges

• Drive long-term financial planning and optimise profitability levers
• Balance investment planning, CAPEX, and working capital with cash flow requirements
• Optimise inventory and procurement frameworks to ensure availability while safeguarding liquidity
• Lead financial data and systems integration, automation, and potential ERP implementation
• Manage financial and operational complexities of international expansion, including multi-entity structures, new incorporations, retail operations and warehouses

Profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling, ideally within retail or fashion
• Proven expertise in cash flow management and financial modelling
• Advanced Excel skills; adept at learning and implementing new business systems
• Resourceful and pragmatic, thriving in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment
• Strong analytical mindset with a genuine passion for data and numbers
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
