Job Title: CFD Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a CFD Simulation Engineer to join our global team working on advanced 1D and 3D simulations in support of electrical energy storage systems during a parental leave.

Responsibilities

• Develop and use 1D/3D simulation methods to evaluate battery pack performance and safety.
• Perform electro-thermal simulations for power electronics and electrical systems.
• Conduct system simulations to assess impact on range, power, and thermal aspects.
• Validate simulation methods through physical testing and analyze results.
• Document methods, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering (focus on thermal analyses or applied mechanics).
• 3+ years of experience in CFD simulations (GT-SUITE, Star-CCM+, Ansa).
• Experience with thermal-fluid modeling, cooling systems, and simulation tools (Python, Java, Matlab/Simulink).
• Experience with battery cell simulation or lithium-ion battery electro-thermal simulations is a plus.
