Do you have experience in procurement and strategic sourcing and want to take the next step within category management? Are you motivated by building strong business relationships, negotiating agreements and driving sourcing strategies that create real business value? We are looking for a Category Manager to join our Central Procurement team and help shape the future of indirect procurement at Lantmännen.

This is what you will do

As a Category Manager within Central Procurement, you will be responsible for three centrally managed indirect categories owned by Group Functions: Professional Services, Marketing and Business Travel. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders across Group Functions to understand their needs, develop sourcing strategies, lead procurement initiatives and negotiate supplier agreements. Your responsibility will span from category planning and supplier management, to contract implementation and continuous optimization.

• Business Travel, including travel agency and hotel agreements.
• Marketing, including creative agencies, media services, branded products and signage.
• Professional Services, including temporary labour and company car leasing.

You will act as a trusted business partner, balancing stakeholder requirements with commercial opportunities and long-term category strategies. The role requires you to build strong networks across the organisation, challenge existing ways of working and drive fact-based decision-making.

You will also be expected to understand how sourcing decisions impact the wider Source-to-Pay process and collaborate with relevant experts regarding procurement processes, systems, compliance requirements, invoicing flows and automation opportunities.

The role is part of Central Procurement, which consists of three functions; Category Management, Process & Tools, and Procurement Support.

You will join the Category Management team and report to the Head of Central Procurement, Chilani Ålbrant. The position is based at Lantmännen's headquarters in Stockholm. Travel occurs occasionally, primarily to Malmö, with occasional overnight stays.

This is what you need to succeed

You have:

• An academic degree or vocational qualification within procurement, supply chain, business, finance or a related field.
• Approximately 3-5 years of experience within procurement, sourcing or category management.
• Experience in indirect procurement, including strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Experience managing projects and collaborating across multiple stakeholders and functions.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop fact-based business cases.
• Experience working with data and translating insights into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
