Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Stockholm is seeking an Engagement Manager with deep experience in operational M&A carve-outs to lead complex transactions across the Nordic region. You will work with clients, boards and investors to shape separation programs from strategy through execution.

You will guide both buy-side and sell-side engagements, design standalone operating models, and mentor junior team members while expanding our carve-out capabilities across Nordics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading carve-out and separation programs throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Strong operational M&A understanding and value creation.
• Master’s degree in business and economics, engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent written and oral English; Swedish or Nordic language preferred.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side carve-out engagements from scoping to delivery.
• Design standalone operating models, cost assessments, and TSA scoping.
• Establish Separation Management Offices for Day 1 and IPO readiness.
• Mentor junior staff and foster inclusive, high-performance culture.
• Support growth of the carve-out practice and cross-border collaboration.
