Job summary

Swedish Match in Sweden is seeking a Business Planning Sr Specialist to translate strategic plans into local financial plans across the Nordic markets.

You will join the Nordic Finance team, interact with many functions daily, and provide forward-looking insights, budgeting, reporting, and ROI analyses.

The ideal candidate has a finance/economics degree, 2+ years in finance planning or strategy, fluent English, strong Excel and Power BI, and a collaborative mindset; hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years of work experience in Finance, Business Planning and/or Strategy in an international company, preferably in FMCG or consumer business.
• Fluency in spoken and written English with excellent report-writing skills.
• Excellent storytelling skills with ability to influence decisions through clear communication.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI is beneficial.

Your “day - to - day”

The Business Planning Team, as part of the Nordic Finance function, supports Nordic Management in delivering our transformation across the Nordic markets. As a Business Planning Sr Specialist, you will be part of the Finance community and interact daily with almost all other functions in the company.

You Will Be Responsible For The Following Tasks

• Support the translation of strategic plans into operational business and financial plans that support the local market strategy
• Provide insightful analysis to support the conversion of the consumer journey into financial projections and integrate them into business plans
• Provide forward-looking financial insights into market conditions, competitors and alternative business scenarios
• Support the rollout of new products
• Prepare ad hoc analyses to support the decision-making process and maximize ROI
• Support the preparation of presentations and reports, striving to provide a clear and comprehensive view of the business
• Present monthly business performance with forward-looking analysis
• Support pricing analysis and provide recommendations to the management team
• Understand the impact of various regulatory measures on business performance
• Manage local data governance to ensure alignment with our standards

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics or Industrial Engineering

• Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to influence decisions through engaging, clear and compelling communication
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working with Power BI is beneficialUnderstanding of financial value flows and income statement components, from revenue through to profit
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and logical thinking
