Job summary

Google is seeking a Business Operations Program Manager for Global Data Centers in Sweden. The role requires Swedish and English fluency for a client-facing position, with responsibilities spanning cost control, vendor and contract management, and procurement leadership.

As part of the Global Data Centers team, you will oversee maintenance agreements, provide data-driven insights, and support data center technicians while coordinating with the Environment, Health, and Safety groups.

About the job

As a Business Operations Program Manager, you will oversee the maintenance agreements of Data Center related systems. You will lead cost control, contractor management, and procurement projects, collaborating with other stakeholders like the Environment, Health, and Safety department. In this role, you will support local Data Center Technicians by ensuring they are informed regarding relevant processes. You will serve as a local escalation point for finance-related matters. You will maintain key metrics, provide data, and conduct analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Execute assignments with varying supervision levels, showcasing self-initiative and adaptability.
• Lead annual budget development aligning with objectives. Provide estimates for operational and capital budgets, and regularly review and communicate budget reports with variance analysis and insights.
• Evaluate proposals using a structured decision-making matrix, award agreements, and ensure seamless stakeholder communication.
• Collect and analyze cost data, support management in maintaining key performance metrics, and provide data-driven insights for planning.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring they receive assistance in the local language, guidance on legal compliance, and acting as a local point of contact for audits.
