Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Tierp, Sweden, seeks a Business Controller to join the Tierp Works finance department. You will work closely with the Tierp Works Business Controller and the Product Company finance team to deliver accurate financial analysis and drive digitalization within the organization.

You will support management with timely business insights and participate in system development projects, while gaining a deep understanding of Atlas Copco processes.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Business Administration and a couple of years (or more) of experience from similar role with a good understanding of financial controlling.
• Good level of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, relevant, and timely business & financial analysis to support general management and assembly management in making effective business decisions.
• Participate in digitalization projects to drive efficiency and development within Atlas Copco processes.
• Support production operations with financial insights and actively participate in understanding assembly operations and operational supply chain.
• Attend factory visits and provide close support for production teams to gain a holistic view of operations.

Job description

Do you want to work in the intersection between finance and production? We are looking for an Business Controller to join us at the Tierp Works finance department.

Tierp Works is the main production plant for the Motor Vehicle and General Industry divisions of Atlas Copco Industrial Technique. The plant consists of a machining workshop, final tool assembly, and a special production workshop. Among our 500 employees are the diverse skills, expertise, and support functions needed to run such a complex operation.

Mission

You will work together with and report to the Tierp Works Business Controller but also closely cooperate with the rest of the Product Company finance team and the wider Tierp Works organization.

You will actively participate in the continuous development towards a well-structured, resilient, and efficient finance department with low waste processes and a sustainable working environment. In preparing accurate, relevant, and timely business & financial analysis to support general management and assembly management in making effective business decisions.

You will over time gain the necessary understanding of Atlas Copco processes to assist in larger systems development projects. You will also identify opportunities for improvement and development within the systems. You will be part of our digitalization journey and will get the opportunity to drive digitalization projes to work even more efficiently.

The Business Controller will also actively participate and understand, assembly´s operations and operational supply chain and both our own and our customers’ requirements. Factory visits and close support for our people in production are therefore critical to getting a holistic view of our operations and the needs of the business.

Experience requirements

A university degree in Business Administration and a couple of years (or more) of experience from similar role with a good understanding of financial controlling. Since we are an international company, you need to have good level of English, both written and spoken. To be successful, you will also need:

• Experience from ERP systems is an advantage and SAP more specifically.


• Experience from Microsoft Power BI is an advantage.


• Experience from Business Intelligence systems is an advantage.


• Good analytical capability and a concern for quality and accuracy
