Dometic, a global outdoor technology company, seeks a Business Controller for Global Ventures to partner with senior leadership and drive financial insight across multiple businesses. You will strengthen reporting, build models, and own analysis from planning to execution while collaborating closely with the CFO for Global Ventures and other senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, KPI tracking, and variance analysis.
• Strong Power BI experience, including developing reports and translating data into insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and a solid understanding of financial statements and profitability drivers.
• Experience from international, industrial, manufacturing, or product-based environments is advantageous.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

As a Business Controller in the Global Ventures Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the CFO for Global Ventures by strengthening financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management across the segment. You will transform complex financial data into actionable insights and decision support, helping senior management drive performance and profitable growth across multiple businesses.

Your main responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standardized reporting and analysis for Global Ventures, ensuring accurate, consistent, and insightful financial information.
• Take ownership of monthly performance review materials, translating financial results, business drivers, risks, and opportunities into clear and actionable management reporting.
• Drive and support finance-related projects, including business cases, profitability analysis, scenario planning, financial simulations, and modelling.
• Build and continuously improve financial models to increase transparency around performance drivers, margins, growth opportunities, cost development, working capital, and investments.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, KPI tracking, and business performance reviews across the segment.
• Leverage Power BI and other reporting tools to improve data visualization, reporting automation, and business insights.

A suitable background

would include experience from a Big Four firm and/or participation in a finance, business, or management trainee program within a larger international company, typically complemented by additional experience in business controlling, financial analysis, management consulting, or other finance-related roles. Candidates will ideally have built a solid foundation of professional finance experience and possess the following qualifications and experiences:

• Proven experience working with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, KPI tracking, and variance analysis.
• Strong Power BI experience, including developing reports, visualizations, and translating data into practical business insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of financial statements, profitability drivers, margins, and business performance metrics.
• Experience from an international, industrial, manufacturing, or product-based environment is highly meritorious.
• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
