Job description

Product Manager â€Â" Booking & Payments

SAS is looking for a commercially driven Product Manager to own and evolve a key stage of the digital customer journey across web and app. Sitting in the Digital Sales team within E-Commerce, this role is accountable for the product strategy, roadmap, and revenue outcomes - for the booking and payments stage of the customer journey. The role is working in close collaboration with Digital & IT delivery teams and commercial stakeholders.

The PM is the commercial owner of their domain. They define what gets built and why, set the success metrics, and are accountable for the product strategy, roadmap, and revenue outcomes, contributing to making Digital Sales a core growth engine for SAS.

Challenges you will work on:

  • Own and drive product performance: Accountable for conversion, revenue, and customer experience within your journey stage, proactively identifying and driving opportunities to improve performance and unlock growth

  • Define product strategy and priorities: Translate business goals, customer insights, benchmarking, and data analysis into a clear product vision and roadmap, incorporating innovation and emerging technologies (including AI) where they drive measurable value.

  • Drive discovery and experimentation: Lead structured discovery and hypothesis-driven development, using data, customer insights, and benchmarking to validate opportunities and solutions through experimentation, including testing new concepts and AI-enabled capabilities

  • Translate strategy into execution: Work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure priorities are clearly defined, well-prepared, and executed with high quality and speed

  • Manage trade-offs and stakeholder alignment: Operate in a complex environment, making transparent prioritization decisions and aligning stakeholders around value-driven outcomes

  • Measure impact and close the loop: Define success metrics, track performance, and ensure delivered initiatives translate into measurable business value.

The Team

You will work as part of a cross-functional product environment together with Product Owners, designers, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders. The setup is highly collaborative and distributed across Commercial and Digital & IT, requiring strong communication, trust, and shared ownership of outcomes. You will report to Head of Digital Sales.

The team culture emphasizes customer-centricity, learning, empowerment, and continuous improvement. Product Managers are expected to act as internal voices of the customer while enabling teams to deliver value effectively and sustainably.

To be successful we believe you have

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with end-to-end ownership across the product lifecycle from discovery and definition to delivery and value realization

  • Experience working with checkout and payment flows, including understanding of payment methods, transaction funnels, and factors impacting conversion and payment success rates

  • Srong commercial and product acumen, with proven ability to translate business strategy, customer insights, and data into clear product vision, priorities, and roadmaps

  • Experience driving product performance, with a solid understanding of key digital KPIs (e.g. conversion, revenue, funnel performance) and how to improve them

  • Hands-on experience with product discovery and experimentation, including defining problem statements, hypotheses, success metrics, and validating solutions through data and testing

  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills, balancing customer value, business impact, and technical considerations in complex stakeholder environments

  • Experience working in agile product development setups, collaborating effectively with Product Owners, engineering teams, UX/design, and architecture

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with hands-on experience using GA4 (or similar) to analyze funnels, identify opportunities, and drive product decisions

  • Ability to operate in a matrix organization, partnering across Commercial and Digital & IT, and navigating dependencies related to architecture, security, and compliance

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse audiences around product direction and priorities

  • Customer-centric and curious mindset, with a focus on challenging assumptions, innovation, and continuous improvement

  • Fluency in English; Scandinavian language is a plus

  • Experience in digital travel or product-led digital businesses is a strong advantage
