Job summary

Saab is seeking an experienced Business Analyst in the Solution Team to run end-to-end initiatives from requirements through deployment, defining scope, schedules, budgets and risk plans. You will collaborate with stakeholders and lead changes to meet agreed deliverables across multiple locations.

You will bring 3–5 years of project leadership in digital solutions, data engineering, or IT, with Jira and ServiceNow expertise and knowledge of SAFe and ITIL.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leading projects and portfolios across digital solutions, data engineering/data science, or IT solutions.
• Executive presence with strong communication to influence stakeholders and data-driven decisions.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and ServiceNow; working knowledge of SAFe and ITIL.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives from definition through deployment, including scope, schedule, budget estimates and implementation plans with risk mitigation.
• Plan and implement initiatives, define tasks and resources, and create schedules and timelines.
• Establish processes for managing scope and quality; assess and communicate risks.
• Monitor progress against timelines and budgets and take corrective action where needed.
• Prepare and present status reports and insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Implement and manage changes to meet agreed deliverables.
• Build positive relationships with business owners and stakeholders and communicate progress regularly.
• Work in close collaboration with the Solution Team Lead and other team members.
• Identify and manage initiative risks and issues to protect outcomes.

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced professional with a minimum of 3–5years of expertise in leading projects and portfolios across digital solutions, data engineering/data science, or IT solutions. Your delivery toolkit should include strong project and portfolio management skills, a solid Agile and Scaled‑Agile mindset, hands‑on experience with Jira and ServiceNow, and a working knowledge of SAFe and ITIL.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is essential. You should possess an executive presence, characterised by a senior communication style that can influence and align stakeholders, simplify complexity, and make confident, data‑informed decisions.

Your leadership style should be collaborative, charismatic, and relentlessly outcomes‑oriented. You should be able to build trust, clarity, and momentum across cross‑functional teams.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
