About the role

As a Brand Manager, you will be the guardian of your brand, ensuring that every marketing initiative maximizes its value. Your role involves developing and implementing local brand strategies and plans, executing in-year plans to drive success, and maximizing penetration potential, market share, and P&L delivery across your markets.

You will collaborate closely with the Category Marketing Manager/Lead and Category Leads at the Business Unit level, aligning with global category guidelines. Your insights and creativity will be key in shaping the brand’s presence and impact.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as a brand custodian, reacting and responding in an agile way to local trends and consumer behavior, and mining local insights.
  • Drive annual brand strategy and planning process in line with category and BU guidelines, considering local needs.
  • Develop and implement marketing activities based on the annual plan (RGM).
  • Implement holistic and connected country communication and media plans, including digital, web, and PR.
  • Local campaign implementation, including tracking and evaluating results.
  • Manage content and updates of local brand websites and digital platforms.
  • Lead brand portfolio and innovation agenda, ensuring excellent execution in country launch plans.
  • Manage artwork execution for the portfolio.
  • Deliver brand KPIs focusing on penetration, turnover, market share, and profitability.
  • Review data sources to track brand and competitor performance, recommending course corrections as needed.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting and monthly reporting.
  • Manage the advertising and promotion budget for the brand in local markets.
  • Ensure all activities comply with policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications and skills
  • Minimum 3+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record in FMCG and/or Consumer Healthcare companies.
  • Strong commercial understanding, managing the brand from a P&L perspective.
  • Experience in planning and executing data-driven digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated brand leadership and ability to work within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the consumer retail environment in Nordics; fluency in Norwegian and/or Swedish is required, other Nordic languages are a plus.
Preferred qualities
  • Passion for brands and brand building.
  • Good understanding of trends and consumer insights.
  • Media and marketing effectiveness savvy.
  • Experience navigating complex matrix organizations.
