Job summary

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB in Stockholm is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator for a long-term consulting assignment with a prestigious client in the energy and critical infrastructure sector in the Stockholm area.

You will coordinate BIM activities, manage digital models and technical documentation, ensure model quality, and align information flows between project teams, contractors and stakeholders. This 100% on-site role requires collaboration and a proactive, structured approach.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in BIM coordination and digital engineering.
• Experience coordinating digital models and technical information across infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of BIM processes, 3D modelling, model coordination, and digital information management.
• Experience reviewing model quality, identifying clashes, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Ability to coordinate documentation deliveries and follow up on contractors' submissions.
• Strong understanding of information flows, documentation structures, and QA processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with BIM coordinators, contractors, project teams, and stakeholders.
• A structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure, substations, GIS, BIM standards, and model-based workflows is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM activities across multiple infrastructure projects.
• Perform quality reviews of digital models, including clash detection and model validation.
• Manage logging, storage, distribution, and traceability of digital documentation.
• Ensure contractors and external parties comply with documentation requirements and technical specs.
• Collaborate with contractors' BIM coordinators and project teams to monitor processes and deliverables.
• Prepare procurement documentation and technical requirements.
• Upload reviewed and approved documentation into the client's digital systems.
• Support continuous improvement of BIM guidelines and model-based workflows.
• Contribute to handover readiness for long-term management.
