Job summary

Saab AB seeks an analytics professional to join the Analytics & Data Solutions team in transforming data into insights and intelligent solutions. You will work across the full analytics lifecycle, from data ingestion to modeling, visualization, and AI-enabled capabilities, moving from Qlik to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

You will design scalable data products, ensure data quality and governance, and collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and domain experts to deliver end-to-end

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BI, analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar field.
• Experience developing analytics solutions in Qlik Sense.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, Semantic Models, Power BI).
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and transformations.
• Experience with Power BI and modern self-service analytics.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud data platforms.
• Understanding of data governance and data quality practices.
• Excellent communication bridging business and tech.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate challenges into data, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Create dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics with Qlik Sense and Power BI.
• Design, build, and maintain data products using Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, pipelines, semantic models).
• Explore and implement Fabric capabilities including automation and AI-powered analytics.
• Ensure high data quality, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Work with data modeling, semantic layers, and business definitions to ensure reusable analytical assets.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and domain experts to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions.
• Contribute to continuous development of analytics platform, standards and ways of working.

Your Role

Join our Analytics & Data Solutions team and help transform data into insights, decisions, and intelligent solutions. You will work across the full analytics lifecycle, from data ingestion and engineering to modeling, visualization, and emerging AI-driven capabilities. As our analytics landscape evolves from Qlik to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, you will have a key role in designing scalable data products and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.

What You'll Do

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into data, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Create dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics experiences using Qlik Sense and Power BI.
• Design, build, and maintain data products using Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouses, data pipelines, semantic models, and analytics solutions.
• Explore and implement new capabilities within Microsoft Fabric, including automation, AI-powered analytics, copilots, and intelligent agents.
• Ensure high standards for data quality, governance, documentation, and lifecycle management.
• Work with data modeling, semantic layers, and business definitions to create consistent and reusable analytical assets.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and domain experts to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous development of our analytics platform, standards, and ways of working.

The position can be based in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Karlstad, Malmö, Linköping or Karlskoga.

Your profile

We're looking for a curious and forward-thinking analytics professional who enjoys solving business problems with data and technology. You are comfortable working across both traditional BI development and modern cloud-based analytics platforms, and you are excited by the opportunities created by AI and data innovation.

We believe you have

• More than 5 years of experience within Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a similar field.
• Experience developing analytics solutions in Qlik Sense.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including one or more of Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, Semantic Models, or Power BI.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and data transformation processes.
• Experience with Power BI and modern self‑service analytics.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and analytics best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge business and technology.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python, Spark, or similar technologies is considered a merit.
• Experience with AI‑powered analytics.
• Experience working with data products, semantic models, or domain‑oriented analytics.
• Experience from large and complex organizations.
• Experience working within a regulated or security‑sensitive environment.
