Job summary

WeQuel is seeking an experienced Design Engineer for a two-year assignment in Södertälje to design and integrate chassis components for BEV heavy-duty vehicles, including sheet metal brackets, plastic parts and pneumatic installations. You will develop in CATIA V5, analyze tolerances, manage packaging interfaces, and collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Start as soon as possible; 100% on-site, 5 days a week.

Qualifications

Three years minimum design engineering experience.
Experience with sheet metal, plastic and pneumatic design.
CATIA V5 (3D/2D) and tolerance analysis.
Knowledge of design for manufacturing for sheet metal, plastic or pneumatic components.

Responsibilities

Design and develop components and installation solutions for BEV chassis integration.
Work with sheet metal, plastic and/or pneumatic installations.
Develop designs in CATIA V5 according to applicable design standards.
Work with component packaging, interfaces and installation requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams during development and design reviews.
Support design reviews, validation and technical investigations.
Maintain technical documentation and support production when needed.
Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
