Job summary

Einride in Stockholm or Gothenburg is hiring a central technical expert for BESS procurement and supplier management. You will define hardware specs, lead RFPs, negotiate pricing per kWh, and ensure compliance with grid codes and BRP integrations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Energy/Power Systems Engineering, proven BESS sourcing experience, and fluency in English. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Energy/Power Systems Engineering.
• Proven BESS procurement experience and vendor management.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of IEC/EN grid codes and grid integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BESS procurement, issue RFPs/RFQs, evaluate proposals and negotiate pricing.
• Define hardware requirements, cell chemistry standards, thermal management and safety criteria.
• Own technical compliance for TSO qualifications and BRP/aggregator integrations.
• Hand over finalized contracts and design packages to regional Project Managers.
• Provide technical drawing reviews and commissioning support on site.
• Serve as escalation point for complex hardware or system integration issues.
