Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in battery testing, validation, or safety testing.
• Experience operating laboratory test equipment.
• Strong understanding of lithium-ion or next-generation battery technologies.
• Familiarity with high-voltage safety procedures.
• Reading electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, setup, and execute battery safety and abuse tests on cells and modules.
• Operate and maintain safety test equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting of test systems and laboratory equipment.
• Support failure investigations and root cause analysis activities.
• Maintain laboratory readiness, safety standards, and test procedures.
• Collaborate with validation engineers, design engineers, and manufacturing teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of laboratory processes and test methodologies.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to building a world-class safety testing organization.
