Overview

BAS Commissioning Engineers – Location: Gävle, Sweden. Diginext Scandinavia is expanding our commissioning team for upcoming Building Automation System (BAS) projects across the Nordics. We deliver skilled technical resources to world-class data centers and are known for precision, safety, and reliable execution.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot BAS inputs/outputs using both software tools and hands-on methods (multimeter, screwdriver).
• Interpret and clearly explain the system’s Description of Operation.
• Perform software and graphics work (Niagara experience preferred).
• Optional: conduct BACnet/Modbus HLI mapping and troubleshooting.
• Devise and execute SAT tests to thoroughly prove and stress-test hardware/software points.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors to test BAS interfaces.
• Present findings and progress to the Commissioning Agent.
• Report daily progress, tabulate blockers, and maintain safety standards.

Lead Commissioning Engineer (Preferred)

• Candidates with leadership experience may also:
• Act as a working supervisor, guiding the commissioning team and driving efficiencies.
• Attend daily commissioning meetings and advise the client on progress, blockers, and requirements.
• Validate reported faults before escalating and present overall progress updates.
• Participate in HSE meetings and manage site safety documentation.
