Job summary

Qliro is seeking backend engineers to help build the Payments Platform Team’s high-availability engine used by thousands of customers daily. You’ll work with C# .NET, MS SQL Server, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and Claude AI to improve productivity and reliability.

You will contribute across the full product lifecycle—from planning to release—participating in architectural discussions and owning features with your team. This hybrid role offers flexibility in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Backend development experience with our tools or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of system design and API development.
• Fluent English communication, written and spoken; Swedish not required.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation with extra compensation.
• Curious about AI and Claude to improve engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Work on payment-related projects handling SEK millions daily with focus on stability, scalability and security.
• Collaborate with AI-assisted development tools like Claude to boost productivity and code quality.
• Contribute across planning, implementation, testing, release and maintenance.
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive technical improvements.
• Collaborate with teammates through thoughtful reviews and shared ownership.
