Job summary

Deploja seeks a consultant with strong Kotlin/Java, plus hands-on AWS (ECS, Redis, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway) and microservices experience. You’ll work on distributed systems, applying layered/clean architecture and modern CI/CD practices.

Knowledge of Quarkus, Gradle, containers, and IaC tools is a bonus. The role is part of our consulting business with client or internal projects.

Qualifications

• Strong Kotlin and/or Java proficiency.
• Experience with Quarkus and Gradle is a plus.
• Hands-on AWS experience across ECS, ElastiCache/Redis, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3 and API Gateway.
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices with layered/clean architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and container tech (Docker, ECS/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Ability to work independently or in teams; experience with Big Data tools like Databricks is a plus.

Job description

We now have a new requirement and are looking for a consultant colleague with the qualifications listed below. The position is part of our consulting business, which means you will be employed by us and work either with clients or on internal projects and assignments.

As part of your application, you may be presented to clients/partners as part of the recruitment process. If selected for the assignment, you will be employed by us and work either with clients or on internal projects and assignments as part of our consulting business.

Your Profile (Must-have Requirements)

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with Quarkus and Gradle is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS (or Kubernetes), ElastiCache (or Redis/Valkey), Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures. Experience of building applications using layered/clean architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, as well as container technologies such as Docker and ECS/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Experience of Big Data tools such as Databricks is a plus.
